Charity Manchester 10k Run for Gaza

In Gaza more than 28,000 people have been killed, 67,000 people injured, and hundreds of thousands of people have been left homeless as a direct result of Israel’s relentless bombardment. On 26 January 2024, Israel was charged with war crimes in the International Court of Justice. The ICJ confirmed Israel has a case to answer and Israel’s campaign in Gaza amounts to “plausible genocide”. The trial is ongoing.

In order to support our brothers and sisters in Gaza, Usman Anwar, Waheed Mohammed are participating in the Manchester 10k Run on Sunday 26 May 2024.

Our aim is to raise as much money so we can provide water, cooked meals and dry food rations to families in Gaza, Palestine. All charitable donations will be made to People’s Foundation.

Please donate generously and feel free to participate in the Manchester 10k Run. Zakat is applicable for donations. Our aim is to raise £1,500 and all donations will be matched by Anwar Legal Consultancy Ltd leading to a total of £3,000 Insha’Allah.

Starting off as a humble group of friends in Manchester, we worked tirelessly to raise money for local charities in England and people in need around the world.
