Camps to Kaaba: A Sacred Journey for Palestinian Orphans & Widows

LIA Relief Trust is honoured to launch the next Camps to Kaaba journey — our second time this year taking Palestinian orphans and widows from refugee camps in Jordan to perform Umrah Pilgrimage in August 2026 inshā’Allāh.

Take them from Refugee tents to the city of Makkah and Medinah . From trauma to tranquillity

From hardship to the House of Allah (God)

The Prophet ﷺ (Peace be upon him) said:

“Whoever relieves his brother in his time of need, Allah (God) will relieve him in his time of need.”

And he also said:

“I and the one who cares for an orphan will be like this in Jannah” — and he held his two fingers together.

This is not just a fundraiser — it’s a Divine opportunity.

These are mothers and children who have lost everything in this world, yet never lost their īmān (Faith). They have witnessed war, lived in tents, yet their hearts still long to say:

لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ

For just £600, you can sponsor the full Umrah journey for one orphan or widow, covering:

• Accommodation
• Transport
• Meals
• All essential expenses
• Other Activities

Even if you are unable to support with the full cost of a orphans/widows expense , you can still be part of the honourable act of supporting or via custom donations:

• £50 – Provide 10 iḥrāms for the pilgrims
• £100 – Sponsor meals for the journey
• £500 – Provide 100 iḥrāms
• £600 – Fully sponsor one orphan or widow’s Umrah

The above is not necessary just donate any amount you feel comfortable from your heart.❤️

This project is Zakat-eligible, so you may give your zakat towards this cause, helping relieve the hardship of the most vulnerable.

Imagine your donation being the reason an orphan smiles, or a grieving mother stands before the Kaaba and makes du‘ā’ for you after such hardships, suffering difficulties, loss they have been through. Smiling and laughing after the hardships they have faced.

This is an opportunity to earn the du‘ās of the oppressed.

May Allah (God) accept it from you, place barakah in your wealth and reunite us all in the highest Jannah. Ameen.

For some of you, the above may not make sense for you and be hard to understand, however the ask is simple. Be the means for these young boys and girls (orphans) and widows to go on this sacred journey of pilgrimage, go to the theme & water park, create new happy memories, enjoy food from all over, with basic necessities like flour being a big struggle for them to attain, and simply help get back some of the happiness and peace stolen from them.
