Their First Sight of the Kaaba. Their First Journey to the House of Allah.

Imagine spending your entire life dreaming of one moment.

Dreaming of standing before the Kaaba.

Dreaming of raising your hands in du'a in the holiest place on earth.

Dreaming of walking where the Prophet ﷺ walked.

Now imagine believing that dream would never come true.

This August (2026), LIA Relief Trust is taking 250 orphans and widows from Palestinian refugee camps in Jordan on their very first Umrah.

For every single one of them, this will be the first time they have ever set eyes on the Kaaba. The first time they will hear the Adhan echo through the Haram. The first time they will pray in the Prophet's ﷺ Mosque. A moment they will remember for the rest of their lives.

By the mercy of Allah, they have been given this extraordinary opportunity.

Now we have the chance to make their journey even more special.

We are raising £15,000 to provide thoughtful gifts, refreshments, food/snacks, drinks and treats throughout their Umrah and ziyārahs. These are not luxuries—they are simple acts of kindness that tell every orphan and every widow:

"You are valued. You are remembered. You are loved."

A cool drink after walking in the heat.

A small gift that becomes a treasured keepsake.

A favourite treat shared with new friends.

A smile at exactly the right moment.

These may seem like small things to us, but for someone experiencing the journey of a lifetime, they become memories that will never fade.

Perhaps Allah has chosen you to be part of their story.

You may never meet these pilgrims. They may never know your name. But as they stand before the Ka'bah, make tawaf, pray in Masjid an-Nabawi and raise their hands in sincere du'a, know that your generosity helped bring comfort, happiness and dignity to their blessed journey.

Our Goal: £15,000

Every pound you give will help provide treats and gifts for these 250 first-time pilgrims throughout their Umrah.

Whether you can give £10, £25, £50 or more, your donation will help create moments of joy that will stay with them forever.

Please donate generously and share this appeal with others.

Together, let's ensure that the first Umrah of 250 Palestinian orphans and widows is not only unforgettable because of where they are going, but also because of the kindness they experienced along the way.

May Allah accept your charity, ease the affairs of these pilgrims, and grant you a share in every prayer, every smile and every heartfelt du'a they make in the blessed lands. Āmīn.
